In the Songwriting Discovery Workshop Series the emphasis is on exploring the heart and soul of the songwriter. We’re talking about YOUR heart and YOUR soul!

(All instruments welcome, except drums. You can also use your voice if you don’t have an instrument!)

First we’ll learn a meditation technique that lets us listen and connect to our pulse. Then we’ll engage in ‘rhythm making’ as a group, using clapping, stepping and speaking certain syllables.

Vicki will show you a simple method of identifying chords in Open D and Open G tunings that will enable you to figure out how to play hundreds of songs in these tunings.

Using rhythm patterns discovered by master percussionist, Glen Velez as a jumping off point, we’ll use intention and interval healing to create specific yet improvisational healing protocols.
